To be given this spectacular opportunity, Disney Performing Arts programme will need to approve your troupe. We can start accepting audition material from Monday 15th August 2016 for the 2017 summer season. Disney will have specific requirements in regard to the routines and students that you film.

How to apply:-You will need to submit an audition on DVD of your intended troupe, wherein all of the students appear in both of two full routines.

Please note the following to ensure that your application is handled as quickly and possible and given due consideration:-

1) Disney will not accept a recording made earlier than 12 months prior to your appearance on their stage.

2) You will need to declare the number of dancers that appear on the DVD and write a description stating what your intentions for the 20 minute show would be if your audition is approved, listing the disciplines that you wish to exhibit.  Keep in mind that your DVD audition must be in-keeping with what you wish to perform in the summer of 2017.  For example, Disney will only allow you to perform Tap if it is shown on your application film and approved.

3) Performers must be between 5 to 21 years of age to appear on a Disney stage.

4) At least 20 approved dancers must be at the theatre on show day.  You should aim to have more than this in the early stages to account for potential cancellations and students leaving your school in the lead up.

5) You are required to submit two full routines and no more.  These should be indicative of the style that you intend to stage at Disneyland® Paris.

6) At least 90% of the students that will be travelling to France must prominently appear in both of the two routines. Please be aware, that after approval, should more than 10% of your students drop out to the performance, you will have to re-audition all of the remaining dancers.

7) Our colleagues at Disneyland® Paris are expecting you to create this audition especially for them.  Please do not include any students that have no intention of travelling to the theme park next summer.

8) Disney will be looking to ensure that all individual students are in time with each other and the music.  We urge you to allocate choreography that is age appropriate.

9) Costumes are not essential for the audition but can help if you already have garments that are impressive.  Please always remember that at Disney, midriffs cannot be exposed, bra straps must be hidden and shoes with a sole must be worn for dancing.

10) Disney like to see confidence in the students so please encourage your students to smile and look towards the camera.

11) The entire body of all students should be seen at all times so take your film from a distance and ensure that there is nothing obscuring the troupe.

Musical theatre groups are welcome to perform at Disneyland® Paris. You will need to submit two musical theatre auditions to assess your group vocals and a seperate audition foe each soloist. Please call 01992 522 222 immediately for advice in this regard.

Disney has asked that you send a picture of children in show costumes for their file.  You should email this to our Events Manager,
